How-To: Trustworthy Chat
Trustworthy Chat is an AI-powered assistant that helps you find answers, summarize information, and get insights from the documents in your vault. You can access it by clicking Chat in the left-hand navigation menu on desktop or at the bottom of your screen on mobile. Use Chat to quickly find specific details, create comprehensive summaries, or get advice on what to do next.
Asking Questions in Chat
The main Chat interface provides a simple way to interact with your data. You can type a question directly into the text field or get ideas from the sample prompts provided. To get new ideas, click the refresh icon next to the sample prompts.
For example, to find a specific piece of information like a business's EIN, simply type your question and press Enter. Chat will search your documents and provide a direct answer.
To begin a new conversation, click the New chat button at the top of the screen.
Generating Summaries and Checklists
Chat can go beyond simple questions to generate detailed summaries and checklists based on the information in your account. This is useful for creating rollups of complex information, like all your insurance policies.
When you ask for a summary, Chat will organize the relevant data into an easy-to-read table.
The summary includes key details and links to the original documents for further review.
You can also ask Chat for advice or to create a checklist. For instance, you can ask for a checklist to improve a specific category. Chat will analyze what you currently have stored and provide a clear, actionable list of what's missing for each family member.
Accessing Chat History
Trustworthy saves your conversations so you can refer back to them later. To view your past chats, click the History button at the top right of the Chat screen. A sidebar will appear with a list of your previous conversations. Click any item to view the full chat and its results.
Using Contextual Prompts
As you navigate through your Trustworthy vault, you'll see contextual prompts from Autopilot in a section titled Get insights from Autopilot. These are suggested questions that are relevant to the specific item you are viewing. For example, when viewing a vehicle insurance policy, you'll see prompts like "Summarize my vehicle insurance." These prompts provide a quick way to get insights without having to manually type out your question.
Tips for Using Chat
If you're unsure what to ask, start by exploring the sample prompts. Clicking the refresh icon will generate new suggestions to help you discover the full capabilities of Chat.
