Understanding the Property Category

The Property category helps you organize and protect the things you own — from homes and vehicles to jewelry, collectibles, and family heirlooms. Within each property tile, Trustworthy guides you step by step to add details, upload documents, and set reminders for key dates like warranty expirations, registrations, and renewals.

Upload a file to your dashboard, or click + Add in the left-hand navigation, and Trustworthy builds the page automatically — with options for manual entry so you can track every essential detail.

Connecting your property to related information across the Family Operating System® gives your household valuable context. Often Trustworthy suggests these connections for you when you add a document — but it's easy to add your own, too. No one knows your household like you do.

For example, a home can connect to:

• The mortgage or bank account that pays for it

• The insurance policy that protects it

• Utility providers and service contacts

• Passwords such as gate codes, security codes, or Wi-Fi credentials

These connections make information easier to find, easier to manage, and more useful in both everyday life and emergencies. You may also want to note where important items are physically stored, and whether major property is accounted for in your estate plan, trust, or will.
