Writing a eulogy can feel overwhelming — especially during times of grief. Trustworthy’s built-in Eulogy Writer tool is designed to help you honor your loved one’s memory with care and clarity. This guide walks you through how to access, use, and share a eulogy created using Trustworthy.

Step 1: Go to the Eulogy Writer
Log in to your Trustworthy account.
Navigate to the Family Resources category.
Click the Templates tab.
Select New Eulogy.
This will open a guided eulogy creation wizard.
Step 2: Fill in Prompts to Personalize the Eulogy
You’ll be guided through a series of prompts about the person you’re honoring. Answer as many or as few as you like — the more you provide, the richer and more personalized the eulogy becomes.
The AI will generate a draft based on your responses. You can:
Edit the content in a markdown-style editor
Adjust formatting (bold, headings, lists, etc.)
Add additional personal touches at any time
Step 3: Share, Download, or Collaborate
Once your eulogy is ready, you can:
Preview the file to Download it as a PDF
Share it with a secure link and email the URL directly to someone (e.g. a family member, officiant, or funeral home)
Invite a collaborator to co-edit or review the eulogy
You can limit access to just the eulogy document
Collaborators don’t need full account access

Do I need to create an account to use the Eulogy Writer?
No. If you're not a Trustworthy user yet, you can still use our public and free eulogy writer. After your eulogy is complete you can input your email to get the content sent to you, plus you can also then create a Trustworthy account for your family where you'll be able to access your eulogy inside Trustworthy to edit, share and collaborate.
Can I edit the eulogy after it’s generated?
Absolutely. The editor allows full customization of your text, and you can return to make changes anytime.
Is the eulogy private?
Yes. You control who sees or edits the eulogy. All sharing and collaboration is secure and permission-based.
