Adding Google or Apple sign-in to your existing Trustworthy account

October 12 2023 10:50pm

Reduce password fatigue and simplify your login experience by leveraging our new Google or Apple sign-in options.

If you already have a Trustworthy managed username and password, you can still add Google or Apple sign-in to your account.

Here's how:

Visit the Trustworthy login page and select Google or Apple

Go to the Trustworthy login page and click Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.

Sign-in to your Google or Apple account

When prompted, sign-in to your Google or Apple account. For Chrome users, in many cases you're already signed into your Google account in your browser, so this step might not prompt you for your Google credentials.

To link your Google or Apple account to an existing Trustworthy account, they must use the same email address that you used to sign-up for Trustworthy.

Link your Trustworthy account

In order to confirm that you want to link your Google/Apple login, you will need to authenticate using your Trustworthy account credentials this one time when prompted.

Input your Trustworthy email address, password and 2-factor security options when prompted.

Important note about hide my email option from Apple

Apple login has a feature called Hide My Email which cannot be used when linking your Apple ID to an existing Trustworthy account. Because we connect your Trustworthy account to Apple via a matching email address, using the hide my email feature could result in sending you into a new account creation flow, instead of linking your account.
