Supported File Types and Size Limits

Your important documents come in many formats and Trustworthy supports a wide range of them. Below is a list of file types we currently accept, along with those we do not yet support.

Supported File Types:

• Images: .gif, .heic, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .webp, .tif, .tiff

• Documents: .doc, .docx, .md, .pages, .odt, .pdf, .txt, .rtf, .rtx

• Spreadsheets: .numbers, .ods, .xls, .xlsx

• Presentations: .key, .odp, .ppt, .pptx

• Archives: .gz, .tar

• Data formats: .csv, .json, .vcf, .xml, .yaml, .yml

• Other: .bib, .latex, .tex

Unsupported File Types:

.1pux, .application, .bat, .cmd, .com, .cpl, .dll, .docm, .dotm, .exe, .gadget, .inf, .hta, .jar, .js, .lnk, .mov, .mp4, .msc, .msh, .msh1, .msh2, .mshxml, .msh1xml, .msh2xml, .msi, .msp, .pif, .ppam, .pptm, .potm, .ps1, .reg, .scf, .scr, .sldm, .sys, .vbs, .wmv, .xlam, .xlsm, .xltm, .zip

Things to note about file uploads:

• If your file doesn’t upload to Trustworthy, try converting it to a supported format before retrying.

• When uploading from web, the limit is 5GB.

• When using mobile scan on the Trustworthy Mobile App, uploads are limited to 50MB.
