Tips

  • If you're in the market for a scanner, the Ricoh ScanSnap iX2500 is available on Amazon.

  • You can create multiple profiles for different purposes — for example, Scan to Folder or Email to Family.

  • Rename your profiles clearly so you always know where your scans are going.

Troubleshooting

My scans aren’t arriving in Trustworthy. What should I check?

The most common issue is how the scanner is connected.

If your scanner is connected via USB, scans may not route through the cloud/email profile correctly.

What to do:

  • Ensure your ScanSnap is connected via Wi-Fi

  • Re-run your scan using the saved profile

Once connected over Wi-Fi, scans should send directly to your Trustworthy account without issue.

If you’re still having trouble, double-check:

  • Your Email to Trustworthy address is correct

  • The correct ScanSnap profile is selected

Privacy & Security

Does ScanSnap Cloud store my documents? Is it secure?

As part of our SOC 2 compliance, we regularly review all vendors and their security practices.

Ricoh ScanSnap uses Microsoft Azure infrastructure, which includes:

  • Encryption during transmission (SSL)

  • Secure handling of files before delivery

  • Ongoing security updates

We monitor these practices to help ensure your documents remain private and secure as they are delivered into Trustworthy.

Future integrations:
We continue to evaluate deeper integrations, including more direct connections. For now, Email to Trustworthy provides a secure, reliable bridge.
