How to Change Concept Types
Occasionally, Trustworthy may have in the past misclassified a file and or maybe you chose to create a page for it within a subcategory that isn't quite right anymore. For example, a checking account might be identified as a savings account, or a credit card might be identified as a bank account.
These page subcategories are known in Trustworthy as concepts. A concept is the type of information a page represents, such as a bank account, credit card, insurance policy, or property.
If you need to change a concept type later, you can do so at any time.
Reclassifying a Page
Navigate to the page you want to update and open it.
Locate the current concept type, shown just below the page title, and click on it. (Hovering over the type will reveal the edit pencil icon.)
In the Change Type window, select the correct type.
Click Change.
Review the confirmation message and click Change again to confirm. The page will be updated automatically and moved to the appropriate section.
Click the Change button at the bottom of the window, and in the confirmation pop-up that follows, click Change again to confirm the action.
After confirming, the item will be updated and automatically moved to its new category section.
Information That May Not Transfer
Some concept types contain information that does not exist in other concept types.
For example, a savings account includes Account Holders, while an installment loan includes Borrowers.
If changing types would cause information to be removed, Trustworthy will display a warning before the change is completed. The warning identifies any fields that cannot be transferred.
Review this message carefully before proceeding. Any information listed in the warning will be removed when the type change is completed.
