Move a File to a Service Account
You can move any file directly onto a service account so that all of a company's documents stay together in one place. This is helpful when a file first lands somewhere else—like a utility notice that gets filed under a property—and you want it stored with the specific account it belongs to.
What Is a Service Account?
A service account represents a specific account you hold with a company, such as a utility account tied to one property. Trustworthy's AI creates service accounts for you automatically as it recognizes them in your files, and a single company can have more than one—for example, separate accounts across different properties or jurisdictions.
Once a service account exists, it becomes a destination you can move files to.
How to Move a File to a Service Account
Navigate to the file you want to move.
Click the ... (more options) icon next to the file's entry. Alternatively, open the file preview and click the ... icon at the top of the screen.
Select Move from the menu.
In the Move File window, open the Contacts category and select the company the account is with (for example, your utility provider).
Under Service Accounts, select the specific account this file belongs to (for example, the account ending in 5518).
Click Move. The file is removed from its original location and stored on that service account.
Find the File on the Service Account
To confirm the move, open the company contact and look for the Service Accounts section. Select the account you moved the file to, and you'll see it stored there alongside that account's other documents.
